Privacy

The controller is Andrew J Young, trading as Innovato. This notice covers Bathroom Deal Hub at www.bathroomdealhub.co.uk.

What is processed

The catalogue is a list of product prices. It is not an account and it is not a profile of visitors. There is no login.

The newsletter and contact forms send the fields you type to this site. Those fields are checked and then discarded. They are not added to a mailing list, not saved in a database, and not forwarded. The form is not connected to an email provider. Write to hello@bathroomdealhub.co.uk.

A short count of form attempts is kept for about 10 minutes. The count travels in an HttpOnly cookie so it still applies when a later attempt is handled by a different server. The same count is also held in that server's memory for a browser that does not keep the cookie. The cookie stores times, not the address or the message. Nothing is written to a database. Dropping the cookie starts a fresh count on each server.

Lawful bases

Legitimate interests cover three things: publishing the public price catalogue, delivering the pages, and limiting flooded form submissions.

Consent is not used to build a marketing list, because email addresses are not stored.

Processors

The site is built to be hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes the IP address, the time, and the page requested in order to serve the site. This site does not keep a separate copy of those logs, and it does not set the host's retention period.

Awin processes the click when a retailer link is an affiliate link. Home Fixtures is an affiliate link. The other retailer links go straight to the retailer. See the affiliate disclosure.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used only when both bot-check keys are set. They are not set in the default configuration. When the check is on, Cloudflare processes it in the browser.

Retention

Form fields are not retained after the check. The in-memory attempt count is dropped after about 10 minutes, and sooner if the server process stops. Catalogue prices are not personal data.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, erasure, or restriction, and you can object to processing. Where personal data is held, you can ask for a copy. Form messages are not kept, so there is usually nothing to send.

The contact address is hello@bathroomdealhub.co.uk. You can also use the contact page.
